 Treatment day

Today's appointment was early.. had to be there at 7:30am. Of course today I woke up with a heck of a headache... 3 Tylenol and a cup of coffee before treatment... It finally left on the way into town. I'm sure it was from being outside all day yesterday cleaning out the chicken and duck coop, adding new hay to their coop, adding hay to the goat pen, the pollens in the air, dusting the house and so forth. I was pretty sneezy yesterday so I'm sure that's what it was from.

Had a meeting with my actual oncologist, Dr. Merten, this morning. She said I'm doing great with no side effects and my labs all look great. She did a brief physical exam and guess what.....she confirmed my suspicions...  SHE HAD A HARD TIME FINDING THE TUMOR!! When this all started, my stupid growth was very easily found, like my boob was growing its own boob....

Apparently prayers and treatments are WORKING! GOD IS SOOOO GOOD!

She told me to keep doing whatever I'm doing. I'll fill you in below on what I'm doing on my own.

Treatment went fine.. no issues as usual. Next week they will double the dosage of the Benadryl as history has shown that folks have more of a reaction to the chemo cocktail starting at treatment #6. Currently, I'm on 25mg of IV Benadryl. A side effect of this pushed med causes RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) and I have RLS anyway, so this push does immediately cause it to flare up during treatments. It's nothing major, I just shake my leg to get thru it. No biggie. That being said, I have asked that starting next week they move the Benadryl to pill form instead of the IV push... unless they want me pacing the treatment room for 3 hours... LOL  It shouldn't be an issue to change the method of the dose since it's a side effect prevention med.

My outside regimen is as follows:

Plexus Probiotics

Plexus Biocleanse (mostly magnesium)

Plexus Xfactor multi-vitamin

Plexus Immune Booster

Plexus Omeags

Over the counter Vitamin C

Bulk Supplements Dandelion Extract

Diet consists of more than normal red meats, protein shakes, protein bars, yogurt, cheeses, lots of fruits, veggies and 128oz daily of water. Yes, 128oz. Keeps my muscles healthy, flushes the toxins out of my system and keeps me hydrated. I'm also trying to avoid eating crap, like fast food and fried foods. Aside from being unhealthy, I found the grease causes a lot of extra gas. No one wants that. I'm still running around doing farm chores, housework, working full time, staying active. I literally haven't felt any different despite these treatments.

Monday is giving this week a great start!
